Barbara Larsen, MA., Ed. has been working in the field of dementia since 1985.
Movement with Meaning is the culmination of her practical, hands-on approach; providing a multisensory program for people with early-stage Alzheimer’s disease.
Over the past two decades, Barbara’s extensive experience has encompassed working with individuals with dementia, family caregivers, and health care professionals in a variety of settings.
As an educator, director, and consultant she has brought her expertise to adult day care centers, residential care facilities, research universities, and the private sector.
She has presented Movement with Meaning at annual conferences and organizations such as the Alzheimer’s Association and the American Society on Aging.
